A few words about
Anne Adams always had a passion for makeup. After graduating from Sam Houston State University in 2004, she embarked on a career in corporate cosmetics, working for companies such as Paula Dorf Cosmetics and Laura Mercier Cosmetics (Gurwitch Products). It was during her time at Laura Mercier Cosmetics that she began pursuing her career as a freelance makeup artist in her spare time. Over the course of a few years, Anne developed a portfolio of beautiful photos to capture her artistry.
Anne’s makeup ability was first seen by local artists at Page Parkes Center for Modeling and other established local artists. During her years as a freelance artist in Houston, she had the opportunity to work with some of Houston’s best fashion photographers which include Arthur Garcia, Colin Kelly, Dan Carter, Robert Seale and Pam Francis.
Anne has worked on numerous weddings, special occasions and fashion shows. This has allowed her to work with many leading Houston stylists and/or designers that have included Caesar Galindo and Todd Ramos.
Anne’s work has been displayed in different publications including a feature with former Miss Texas USA, Magen Ellis in the Houston Chronicle. Her work can also be seen in the feature film, “The Waiter” where she had the privilege of working with famed actors Charles Durning and Glenn Morshower.
Anne is a native Houstonian, but relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 2017. She put her passion for beauty aside for years to work in the corporate world and tackle motherhood, but has now put herself back out there in the world of makeup in a new city – bringing years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to her job. Her spirit is one of a traditional makeup artist, a rare breed in today’s world of Instagram and YouTube beauty gurus. Anne is not just a makeup artist. She’s a mom, a makeup artist, a business woman, and aspires to be an inspiration to women everywhere.
